Are wireless mouse/keyboard(s) good for gaming?

As long as you're not doing any competitive gaming; i.e. CSGO, LOL, Dota, they're fine.

If you are, they will hold you back big time, and will disconnect/lose battery power when you need them not to the most, as well as have input lag that is actually enough to matter in those games.

There are wireless peripherals that are dedicated to gaming. However all of them have some demonstrateable lag when compared to wired counterparts.

That said I used a wireless keyboard / mouse set for almost a decade. I like to game and I like to think I'm pretty good, but I'm no professional. I couldn't tell the difference when I was using them. However when I made the switch to wired, I noticed a perceivable difference in my gameplay. Not saying it was night and day better, but I could feel it.
