Hello all,

I am new to this forum, so please forgive me if i'm doing something wrong.
I would like to build a pc that is capable of being used by two users at the same time. I know this is possible and I am going to use SoftXpand as software.
The first user will be connected to the living room tv and will only be used for some internet tasks, mail and maybe games like Minecraft. The other seat will be used for this and gaming a bit more.

Approximate Purchase Date: This month

Budget Range: 750$ or 720€ without shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Multiseat. One for gaming, other for internet.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: None

Do you need to buy OS: No, I have Windows 7

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I don't think you know this site, it's Dutch... I preffer Alternate.nl, but configuring on PCpartpicker is 100% okay.

Location: Netherlands, Europe
Parts Preferences: by brand or type (e.g.: I would like to upgrade to Intel CPU)

Overclocking: Maybe, if needed

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe, if needed

Your Monitor Resolution: I think it's 2x 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I would be playing games like Minecraft, GRID, GTA, etc.

I thought I could use like an A10-7890, because it has an integrated GPU. So that I could use the integrated one for the tv, and another one for the other station. I think an r7 370 is ok already.

Thank you people!

Kind regards, Casper

Multiple users can be a bit taxing on RAM and CPU. I assume you probably need at least one Windows License, for the host/gaming portion. My approach personally would be to have a Linux VM set up with maybe 6GB of RAM and four threads, which would have plenty of power for such tasks, but feel free to use whatever approach you want.

I like the overall idea of an Xeon processor, but now two users have to share one GPU. I've read that you can't enable Aero while using the same GPU (I don't know anymore where I've read this).
Also I can't find the Xeons for that cheap in the Netherlands.
Thank you for the fast response!

for below 720 you had to go with a gtx 950 / this will give u a huge peformance boost.
without a doubt the best for your budget, especially since u use 2 screens.

delivery is fre/ cheaper than alternate, customer service above excelelnt.
they promissed me i get all my components in 5 days, 1 component(psu wasnt in stock) so they offerened me anoter more expensive one(10 euros) so i got everything within 5 days.
