so, my primary 16x pcie slot is damaged and it isnt working properly so I though maybe I should use the second one (16x one too). But now everything runs just fine like before with the damaged pcie slot, BUT nothing shows up on my screen now that Im using the second slot, can this be fixed somehow?

Would you mind sharing what sort of damage the PCI-E slot has? Also, what do you mean that everything runs like "before"? How can you tell that everything is working if nothing shows up on the screen? What is your motherboard model?

well its like almost completely off, it works just fine when the gpu is sitting on top of it (that requires my pc to be on its side, and it takes alot of space which is annoying) but when the gpu is "hanging" to the side, it doesnt work like at all, everything is laggy on the screen etc.
I mean just like before as in it runs normally, every light goes on and keyboard works etc. but I just cant see anything, mobo is msi h87m-g43 lga1150 intel h87
