Evening all,

Apologies if this has come up before (I'm sure it must have) but grateful for any views the community have.

My main desktop PC is in my bedroom, and the only source socket for internet access is in a completely different room (therefore the router is there). I've tried multiple wireless connectors (including one objectively good one) but none seem to give me as good a connection as wired (which is to be expected).

My question is therefore: are there any good solutions for providing wired-equivalent Internet access? Flat is rented so no DIY possible. I was looking at something like the below but I have no idea if it's what I need and/or actually works:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-LINK-TL-PA8030P-KIT-Passthrough-Configuration/dp/B00X59GJGC/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1461086810&sr=8-8&keywords=wired+plugs+internet

Is this my only option? Any other creative ideas people have tried?
