compared to a InkJet, is there any chance of damage on a laser printer iff i let it stored unatended for too long?

Hi! I had problems with an inkjet printer cause the black ink dried up in the print heads due to the fact that it was stored unatended for too long. I was wondering if that very problem can occur with a laser printer or iff it can be stored for a long time unatended. thanks for your time!

I've had lasers off for 6+ months, with no issue.
Maybe take the toner carts out and give them a shake, but that about it.

usually ink jets dry up like that if using compatible cartridges

ie ones not from the printer maker usually original ones have a chemical in the ink to prevent that

and have fixed loads of them surprising as it may sound with a drop of glass cleaner on the nozzles on paper towel

wizz glass cleaner especially--it has something in it that dissolves printer ink
