When playing more demanding games like quantum break, far cry 4, rise of the tomb raider etc... games will quit to desktop after around 15 to 25 minute and AMD graphic driver has stopped responding and has recovered successfully why is this?

also i can play older games like garrys mod, half life 2, and all lower end games

thanks in advance

Have you tried increasing the power limit a bit? If not it might be worth a try:

1. Right click anywhere on your desktop and select AMD Radeon Settings.
2. Click the "Gaming" tab
3. Click "Global Settings" tab
4. Click "Global Overdrive" tab
5. Adjust "Power Limit" slider to +20% (don't adjust "GPU Clock" slider).

Could also be a driver issue. Always worth rolling back to previous version if you suddenly get instability from seemingly out of nowhere.

its been happening for a while now over several drivers i've tried it makes no difference, also if it was a power issue would it not have happened soon as i got in game after the main menu and the GPU started using alot more power why after around 20 minutes but i will try this anyway
