hi,
i have a pc with windows 7 32 bit pro installed, pentium d 805 2.66ghz 533fsb and the motherboard is ga 8i945plge-rh.The bios version is F4.When i go into bios in M.I.T. i see in grey and can't be modified CPU Host Frequency(Mhz) 100.The manual says that the motherboard supports 133 for fsb533 cpus and 200 for fsb800 cpus. And speecy says that ram is running at 200mhz (in total 400mhz) but ram is 667 and motherboard supports up to 533mhz.I think that these 2 are related. How can i change these values to 133 and 533 that must have because motherboard supports these and not 100 and 400?
What is the problem?
thank you

Solution
Try first to update the BIOS
BUT BE AWARE that this update can destroy the BIOS if something went wrong during the process especially if here was a power shortage
Unless you have dual bios and this another story
It is highly recommend to read how to do it several times before you pull the trigger

If that did't work reset your bios and then reconfigure it

I recommend doing it as following
Flip the computer’s power switch to off to ensure it’s not receiving any power. Open the computer’s case and locate the jumper named something like CLEAR CMOS, CLEAR, CLR CMOS, PASSWORD, or CLR PWD – it will often be near the CMOS battery mentioned below. Ensure you’re grounded so you don’t damage your motherboard with static electricity...

Ensure you’re grounded so you don’t damage your motherboard with static electricity before touching it. Set the jumper to the “clear” position, power on your computer, turn it off again, set the jumper to the original position – and you’re done.

try to see this site ""http://www.howtogeek.com/131623/how-to-clear-your-computers-cmos-to-reset-bios-settings/""
any method will work but it is preferably the second or the third as of this site's order

PS: the clear position is to switch the pins the jumper is connecting so to make it really simple is it is connected to pins 1 and 2 then you should connect it to pins 2 and 3 Or as your motherboard manufacturer mentions in the manual
