I have a micro ATX, i5 2320, 8 gb ddr3 and a 380 watt psu. Right now I am using a geforce gt 520 2gb and since the cpu is still ''ok'' I was thinking of buying the geforce gtx 960 (would be number 1 choice) or gtx 750 ti to be able to play some more recent games. Is it possible? I am like 99% sure that i need to buy a new PSU too.
This is the one I have : http://www.lc-power.com/en/product/netzteile/micro-atx/lc380m-v22/
Most calculators show that I am right on the limit for the gtx 960 and I do not want to spend money for no reason. On the other side I do not want to fry everything in there. I would go for a fair choice. In case I need one too please recommend maximun width 125mm. Would I have the same problem if i go for the 750 ti since it has only half the consumption of the gtx 960?

Your psu has no pcie power cables to run a gtx 960, so to run one you would HAVE to buy a psu and it's underpowered, you work a psu to it's max and this happens http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/11/26/exploding_computer_vs_reg_reader/

You could go for a 750ti as most don't have a pcie power plug and need a 300w psu minimal. will only get 1080p on low/med with aaa games at around 30-45 frames per second though, Playable but there are games this card will never play like Assassin's Creed Unity etc

Go the 960 and buy a psu from tier 1 or 2 and buy 600w for some headroom later. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
