Hey all, I'm looking to upgrade the Graphics Card in my PC from a Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 to be able to play on graphics settings other than Low/Medium. So I was wondering what some good, cost effective graphics cards are. I have 8GB of RAM and an i5-4670 processor running at 3.40GHz.

Thanks in advance!

Solution
Get the GTX 960. If you can wait for Pascal which is about to release in June. The GTX 1070 and 1080 will be out in June, so save some cash. The GTX 1060 and 1050 isn't expected until the end of this year.

R9 380 or 960 GTX are probably direct upgrades if you have a similar budget to what a 660 would have cost. I would personally though advise you to wait for the new GPU lines to start coming out from NVidia and AMD. If you want to spend a bit more then a 970 (for now) or the speculatively named 1070/X70 (in June) are probably the sweet spot.

That should totally depend on what type of performance you want to see in your next graphics card.
