Hello all. I did a new clean install of Windows 10 on a new SSD and had AHCI set in the BIOS. The issue I still have is with my ssds not being recognized as AHCI in BIOS. I have tried the multiple registry tweaks for AHCI and enabled/disable from IDE to AHCI multiple times (safe mode/normal) and the BIOS still will not recognize AHCI. The system still boots whether I have AHCI or IDE selected in BIOS but it always just lists the drives as IDE:ssd. My Corsair 1311 has good read/write speeds but my PNY XLR8 has only 165 read and 105 write. Not sure if the benefits of AHCI are worth me digging any further to fix this or not. Do you have any suggestions?
