Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me decide between the Asus STRIX-GTX980TI-DC3OC-6GD5 Gaming Graphics Card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 TI, 1190 MHz, 6 GB, GDDR5, 384 Bit, PCI-E ) and the EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Superclocked ACX 2.0+ 6 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card

Here are the links:

Asus Strix: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01062AE20/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

EVGA: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ZUXCGXG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_14?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

I would appreciate if someone would help me pick out which is better and the difference between the two.

Thank you in advance.

They look different. The Asus require two 8-pin power connectors while the EVGA uses one 8-pin and one 6-pin (that's what the pictures show, anyway). The Asus seems to have some sort of backplate to reinforce the card.
The performance difference between them will be very small if any. Both should be good models. I would probably pick the Asus because of the backplate. I think the EVGA SC+ has one but the SC doesn't. If I wanted smaller and lower power, I would go with the EVGA.
