So I have an old Toshiba Tecra a8 laptop which has 1gb 533Mhz Ram and I want to replace it with 2GB... (It supports up to 4Gb)

Are they compatible with the laptop or not? I've never replaced Rams in a laptop so I don't know if there are more specifications to consider in relation to desktop Ram replacement...
