Hi
i'm new and i want to say hallo to everyone

well i own an old pc , and i would like an air cooler but i have some issue

well maybe somebody could help me

my cpu is an intel i7-4770K ,i have 32gb vengeance ddr3 4 slots cmz16gx3m2a1600c10 and a motherboard z87-k asus

and a video card

i would like to buy a good air cooler like Noctua nhd-15 to keep my temp low , because sometime i like to render some videos with vegas or premiere cc 2015 and my temp is very hight
i have used realtemp and it's around 80° with vegas and 71° with premiere

the actual fan is the stock intel fan

the problem
does it fit?
i mean ,seeing the ram seems tall , could you please help me?
i was in a computer stores but they told that i should i check and know if i can mount such cooler

i read many review about this cooler and seems one of the best
i live in europe , so i can't find several products easy to buy in usa but not in europe

thanks a Lot in advance!!

Solution
well a good cooler vender should give clearances

like for example this on shows 37.0 mm from the cooler base to the bottom of the heat sink fins so with that info you can do the same for the memory you want to use

''i mean ,seeing the ram seems tall '' and corsair don't give any measurements that I can find so no matter your in the dark on all of that .. so your down to a guessamate [guessing at it and hope your right ]

I guess you need to have the memory in the board and measure up for the true height

or go with the lo pro heatsinks same memory but not the tall ''afro pick '' style heatsinks...

i read the link that you gave me
or
could you please help to find an alternative that could help me please?
just like i said i'm a novice , or just please could you give me some advises about good coler that can keep the cpu temperature low enough to avoid to burn my cpu

http://www.techpowerup.com/146633/corsair-announces-vengeance-low-profile-high-performance-ddr3-memory-kits

or find a review that like here they show the memory with a ruler and show there 35mm overall then do the math cooler fin clearance from mounted on top of the cpu and memory height them in the slot should be about 28mm of clearance

http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/68587-corsair-vengeance-lpx-ddr4-2666-16gb-memory-review.html

or find screen shots of the cooler mounted like this to get a idea ?

http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/help-about-noctua-nh-d15.208484/

''You shouldn't have problems with other boards, but it is something to keep in mind with this cooler. There are are no fit issues to the front and rear of the cooler - you should even be able to use all four DIMM sockets without issue.''

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Noctua/NH-D15/5.html

thins is no board fits the same as they said as well your slots maybe closer to the cpu on your board ??

I don't see how to give you a direct yes or no or it will work 100% with out issue answer .. sorry

look at reviews like this that show mounted clearance

''Like the rest of the NiC series, the NiC C5 leaves enough room to populate all the memory slots on the motherboard.''

''The CPU cooler clears the memory slots, albeit just barely''
