  1. Just answered your other thread on this. That cpu has some bottleneck issues with higher end gpu's. My advice maybe update your cpu,ram n board. Then save up for a new graphics card.
  2. how bad would the FX 4100 quad core cpu bottleneck a 7850 1gb?
  3. i thought about upgrading my daughters dual core cpu to a fx 4100 so im wondering around what video card would it start bottlenecking? would it run a 7850 without bottlenecking?

if you want to avoid upgrading the board get a gtx 960 and then get a amd fx 6300 it will work well with that gpu also get more ram most games need at least 4gb but recomend 8gb
if you are willing to upgrade the motherboard i would change to a intel platform and get a i3 6300 or a i5 6400 with all the rest i said before
    also what is the psu?

  5. I would say a radeon 270x would be a good card for you for medium settings and 60fps, and sure it will be bottlenecked by the FX-4100 but there is always a bigger and badder CPU, just be happy with the FX-4100 you have, remember some people are still running AMD Athlon IIx 2 255 3.1GHZ dual core cpu, and/or core 2 duo 2.93ghz etc, so just be happy with your FX-4100, or upgrade if u arent satisfied with the performance you are getting out of it. I do suggest overclocking the living H E L L out of it to at least 5.0GHZ and /flex .......
