Build Idea Narrowed Down To Three Options. Which One Is Best?

Hello Everyone. I have my build down to three options. An FX9590 with a Asus 990FX Sabretooth board for $329.98, an FX9590 with an Asus 990FX Crosshair Formula Z for 369.98, or an i7 4790K with an "Open Box" Asus Z97-A motherboard for $371.95. Which is the best option out of these three options? Thanks.

The i7 4790K is pretty will run games pretty much twice as fast as the other two options and everything else significantly but not quite twice as fast. If you're concerned about cost a i5 4690K or i5 6600K would also be a much better option than either FX chip.

I will be primarily using it for my recording studio. Although, Since I have an R9 295X2 graphics card, I would probably be set for gaming. The Z97 motherboard stock levels seem low and most seem "Open Box" at Microcenter. Will the fact that the Intel motherboard is "Open Box" be a potential issue? It is the top motherboard they have in store. Thanks.
