Specs:
Intel 15-4670K
8GB RAM DDR3
Nivida GeForce GTX 750 Ti
750Watt PSU
Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H-A Motherboard

Upgrading from 750Ti as I can't run the latest games very well ( Fallout 4, Dark Souls 3 etc..).
I am considering a 980 however I can get an Intel Core i7-3770 + 970 for the same price.
So should I go for the 980, the 970 + i7 or just wait until for the new pascal GPUs?

I have a maximum budget of $600 AUD.

Ty in advance.

Solution
The older i7 won't fit your current motherboard and in most cases the GTX970 can be overclocked to match the GTX980 which puts you in a bit of a pickle.
Strong rumour has it Pascal will be launched late may or early June but there's no word about potential availability-or pricing.
If you really can't wait until Pascal launces, grab the i7/GTX970 then E-bay the CPU, but if this is a used combination, be sure to check the sellers feedback/rep before placing the order, used parts are always a risk but a seller with plenty of good feedback is usually trustworthy.
