I am a gaming youtuber so it is important that i find a solution to this problem asap!

I was making footage for another video of mine only running audacity and nvidia shadowplay in the background. I was playing a game called Beam.NG Drive. I was creating the footage when my monitor just went black and started saying there was no connection. My pc was still running. fans spinning. lights on, everything. it just seemed to not be connected. also, the sound in my headphones would play the last bit of captured sound. the sound was about half a second long and would stutter and replay about every three seconds... i restarted my pc and everything started up as normal, but i tried to get more footage and the same thing happens. it allows me to play for a minute or two and then fails. I have no idea what the problem is, but it seems to be consistent. please help me out. ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK!

If ALL your games do this than it could be a few problems. I would first reinstall your video card drivers, than run some game benchmarks to see if it crashes again. At that point your looking at a video card, CPU or power issue most likely. though never rule out anything.

Seems to me something is over heating or having power issues.

Not necessarily. That could be 1 of the possible issues.

Also if it is crashing more than one game I would check your temps with HWmonitor and see what they are doing under load. Over years of troubleshooting its hard to blindly guess what the issue is. It could be overheating, bad ram, bad drivers, bad power.

First I would check temps and see if something looks crazy i idle. Since it crashes under load you won't be able to tell what they are. Next check I would run Prime95 and see if your system crashes. If it does than you having a cpu issue. If not than move on and reinstall the video drivers. Than check the memory by dling and running memtest86. If you don't get errors than neither your ram or CPU is having a problem on the ram front. Finally if all else failed I would point at your video card 100% since everything else is accounted for.
