Is this build good enough to run games like GTA V and Far Cry Primal on decent settings. As long as the game dosent look like minecraft, im good. I also dont care about fan noise since i dealt with an alienware alpha for a year and that thing is LOUD. The whole build but the mothrboard is on pcpartpicker.com

Most of the build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zD3FWZ

Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128565

I hope this is fine, keep in mind i am on a budget so please dont reccomend a part that is more expensive than the previous unless it is 100% necessary

thanks in advance!!

That means It's supports it, it should say it because if it say it didn't it would be a lie. People are running 125w TDP's on weak VRM-cooled AMD motherboards because It's supported after all. Doesn't mean It's the ideal choice, is it?

A lot of people invested in an FX-8350 processor when Battlefield 4 was released, because of marketing. What people ended up doing is pairing it with the cheapest possible motherboard, resulting in countless of topics on why they have fps-spikes, stutters, lags etc. Mainly this is because they were throttling hard. This was a very popular topic back in that time.

But anyways, you seem to know some things quite well. If you think you are, why ask? Go for it, and hope for the best I guess. My advice is...

Yeah decent settings is fine, i just dont like all settings on its lowest, My BIGGEST pet-peeve is constant stuttering. it honestly makes me go insane. But im fine with medium settings. And i do prefer 45-60 fps.

If you could wait a month or so new graphics cards will be coming out. I know the saying that if you just wait a bit longer then something new is always coming out. But this time it will be a huge performance improvement. Also you really would benefit from a larger frame buffer (2->4gb). Stuttering could be caused by a low amount of VRAM in games like GTA 5 and Far Cry Primal.

The R9 380 i chose has 4gb of vram, i think thats more than enough, ive never seen a game use more than that EVER, so im satisfied with the 4gb of vram

It's ok but with a 760G chipset motherboard, or any 4+1 phase model, never take a higher-than-95w TDP processor. The FX-8320 you've chosen is 125w TDP. I would select either the FX-6300, FX-8300 or FX-8320E (All 95w TDP models). You'll avoid the motherboard from overheating this way. Also, you haven't chosen a USB 3.0 compatible case, perhaps you'd want one. Cooler Master N200 is a very solid case for 40 dollars. Also improve the RAM to DDR3-1866. Also you can save 20 dollars with the R9 380 4GB XFX.

This is a word of advice, I wouldn't recommend it. History shows that a lot of people are throttling their FX-8350 because of 4+1 phase motherboards, including the FX-8350 running at 4.0 Ghz. Even the FX-8320 125w TDP. Any experienced overclocker will tell you this, and since you are saying you're looking to use it for a decent amount of time, perhaps It's a (much) better plan to wait for AMD Zen coming at Q4 2016. These will be much more efficient, and faster too.

I wouldn't base these things, just because your friend seems to run it fine.

The motherboard says it supports 125w TDP if you look in the specifications the go all the way down to features.

My advice is that when it comes to AMD parts, your decision making has to be on point. I'd say do the best research you can before you trigger. If you going to use it for years, you might regret you didn't wait for AMD Zen. I am also waiting for Zen.
