I have installed 8u51 java on my machine, and i have to do an update but when i dwnld offline files and start installation nothing happend? Also i tried all stuff from web to slove this problem without luck. I'm not able to update java. I was also try to download all java offline installations start from my current java ver which is 8u51 up to 8u92 and nothing... same thing, click to install and nothig happends, please if someone can help.? And sorry for my bad ENG writing. cheers! (i'm Windows 7 Ulmt sp1 Desktop user)

Dan381 is my Nick i lost pasword so i crate new one, just 4 rec. The only solution here was reinstaling Windows, nothing i can do to startup Java update, i was try evrything. So i give solution to my self that the best solution is Reinstaling Windows. :) And Hellfire thank you for trying to help me. Cheers!!

I was try to download the files through the {Opera,Chrome,Mozilla,Safari} and nothing same results, click on exe and nothing happends. I was try to uninstall current version ::8u51:: with Revo Uninstaler and to remove all traces than try to install all again, nothing,,, And install again ::8u51:: than uninstall with Your Unistaller same result, nothing. I was thinking maybe some trace is a problem somwhere but is not.. How do you mean to save the instalation files? I mean is there any tutorial how to do that cause im not expert in this at all. Thankyou so much 4 response. Cheers.!

when you click for download...by default it should give you both the options (save or run)...i would suggest you to save first before running it...
also...if you dont get those option, check for plugins enabled...or popups disabled...
also if those dont work, then try to start in "safe mode with networking" and then try to install...
also...let me know...do you find "Configure Java" in your start menu...

I apologize for being late with the answer. I did both, and save it and run it, but nothing same rslt, Plugins are enabled. Pops are enabled 2. I was try to install it on safe mod too no diference same. I have a Configure Java, my Java 8u51 works well but i cant update to a higher ver.. and i dnt now why? I have some services disabled and i was thinking maybe that is the prroblem than i enable it all and than try to install in normal and the safe mode, but nothing... very very frustrating :(

This is which services are disabled on my computer, and evreything works fine except java update.

But like i said, i try to enable all services and than try to install all java exe files start from 8u51 to 8u92 in normal and in safe mode same results.

Nothing, i try that and i try to uninstall eset and always the same. Double click and nothing hpnd.

I will try to install it on safe mod whitout eset, but please can you give me some site with explanation how to install java through the cmd, cause im rooke in all this. tnx

u need to remember d path through windows...and navigate through the same path in cmd...and execute the file...

in windows paste the file in C: (assuming that is ur windows drive) drive...
then go to cmd...and type this (cd..) twice, pressing "enter" after each time...
this will take u to C: directory.
then, all u need to do is type the name of the file(chromeinstall-8u77.exe/JavaSetup8u77.exe or watever it is) with the extension, and press enter...
that will execute the file...

I do everything just like you said to, and same story, appear in processes and disappear after one second just like always, so nothing cmd same thing.. I really do not understand what can cause the problem here to stop installation to start..
