Hello everyone,

I recently got a r9 Nano and tried running my favorite Game Dungeon defenders assuming I´d get much better performance. You can imagin how sad I was as I saw there was 0% improvement compared to my old GTX660. The game runs at ~14 fps.
I have been reading UE3 performance improvements threads for hours now but nothing did really help. I increased Poolsize which had 0 effect. Then I increased Multisamples which made the game look better but didn´t change the fps at all.

Using MSI afterburner shows me that my GPU is weirdly running between 0% and about 90%. Every second it switches between ~10% and~40% usage.
I tried running furmark simultaneously and got 110 frames in this benchmark programm while Dungeon defenders in the background was still running at abou 8 frames and the usage of my GPU was at a constant 100% in MSI.

I also looked if I had a bottleneck but I cannot find any evidence that one or two of the cores of my fx 8350 would be at a 100% usage.

I used crimson/catalyst to boost the game to 4k and maximum tesselation etc. and I was still at the 14 fps from the beginning.

It neither is a ram problem since I have 32Gb working DDR3 ram.

With the nano I run Farcry 4 on Ultra setting in Full HD and maxium AA with abut 60 fps so I don´t know why this cute little game called Dungeon Defenders is so much worse.

I hope you can help me, thanks in advance. Peace.

Well, as I said I am running the game on 16x AA with 4k and maximum grapics and id doesn´t change a bit compared to the lowest possible setting outside the fact that it looks much better. The framerate stays the same.

This is how my GPU usage looks like while ingame and I ahve no clue what to think about it.
