I selected auto update firmware in the device manager. It installed some lenovo firmware. PC rebooted and the motherboard splash screen said updating. PC won't boot into bios. I changed it to dual BIOS and the same thing happened there.

Tried resetting CMOS and changing from double to single BIOS.

Did I just brick my motherboard?

OS Windows 10.

When working with Windows 10, it's highly recommended to disable automatic device driver updates and then manually seraching and updating the drivers on your system provided there is a new release on the manufacturer's site. The instant you'd seen a Lenovo firmware going through, it should've raised an alarm bell, though provided you don't have any other Lenovo component on your system.

Remove the CMOS battery for more than 30 minutes before replacing and try to boot without any drives, if you can get into the BIOS then you can recover from there. Speaking of recovery, you have access to QFlash which means you can flash your BIOS with the aid of a USB thumb drive.

Can you please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your peripherals?
