depends on which Strix version you mean since there are 2, and i've never heard of a gigabyte x2
in truth it wont matter much which you pick,
some of teh gigabyte versions and teh asus strix version can end up cost almost as muhc as a 960, which is better
of those you have suggested there, since im unsure which gigabyte you are referring to i would say teh asus strix (OC version) is best
and in case you mean 2x gigabyte as in dual/SLI, you can run sli of any different brand, could be gigabyte+asus for instance, doesnt have to be same manufacturer, all that matters is its same model and Vram amount

standard gigabyte WF (2xfans) is better than teh standard asus strix
however, teh Asus strix oc, is better than teh gigabyte WF oc,
and depending where you buy from you might even be able to get a 960 if you go for those 2 OC versions, so check prices
in my country teh WF OC and Strix OC ended up so close to 960 that we bought 960 instead, so check prices!

one comes with a standard factory higher clock speed than the other, hence the "OC" designation, (OC stands for overclock), same with teh gigabyte version, or any graphics card that has OC in the name
what it means is it was a little better quality chip, so they decided to overclock it from teh factory, and you could theoretically get a little bit higher speed on it than a non OC version
real life, if often doesnt matter, you could buy and OC version and only get to 1400, and then have a non OC version and get it to 1500
it simply varies from chip to chip, all the OC means its guaranteed at a minimum OC speed as standard set from factory
but usually the speed diff are so small it doesnt matter, only compared to OEM versions
like i said, its so little it doesnt matter, get whats cheapest of them
and if teh non-OC version is even cheaper, get that one, and just speed it up yourself, its very very easy, get whats cheapest

in the end, what makes teh diff from me when looking at 2 identical cards is: do i get something extra with 1 ? like sometimes asus offers a game or discount and such, if they do ofc i select teh asus card
if not i always pick the cheapest one, even if its only by 1 dollar
