Hello there, I'm a bit confused about these 2 PC builds (for Gaming), but my main point is the one who's capable of upgrading in the future.

i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core
Gigabyte GA-H110M-A Micro ATX LGA1151
Crucial 8GB (2 X 4GB) DDR4-2133
Crucial MX200 500GB 2.5" SSD
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB WINDFORCE
XFX XTR 550W 80+ Gold

i7-6700K 4.0GHz
Cooler Master: Hyper 212 EVO
MSI R9 390 Gaming 8GB
Gigabyte LGA1151 Intel Z170 2-Way SLI ATX DDR4 Motherboards GA-Z170X-Gaming 7
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz
WD BLACK 1TB 7200RPM
Samsung 500GB 2.5" SSD
COUGAR 700W Bronze

The i7 one is more future-prone. If you can wait, get it without a GPU and wait a month or two till you can...

the first one restricts you abit on the psu side with a bit low wattage, and since it is a micro atx do you really want a small case? and since its not a K processor limits your futureproofing with restricting overclock.

Id go for the second one, though might improve on the psu

The i7 one is more future-prone. If you can wait, get it without a GPU and wait a month or two till you can get a next gen gpu from nvidia that will be either cheaper, or better than the 390.(not that hte 390 is bad in any way, i just wouldnt buy a gpu these days as both amd and nv have very promicing stuff coming out around the corner)

The i7 has better upgradeability, but right now for gaming the i5 build with a 980 ti is better.
The 980ti is close to twice better, than the R9 390, that's why the i5 build is a better gaming build.
If you can however get the i7 without a GPU, that would be the better option and wait for next gen releases.

I really appreciate all of your replies guys, and I wish if I can pick all your answers as the best solution. :)
Thanks for informing me about the next-generation of GPUs, looks like I'm gonna wait a bit =p
