So I just put together a new computer with my old hard drive which was running Windows 10. Upon booting I am met with a blue screen that says system service exception.asio.sys. I tried factory resetting from the boot menu and it seemed to work and I think the factory reset reverted my os back to Windows 8 which I was fine with if it would work but it still didn't. My previous computer did not come with a Windows 8 disk so I was unsure if I could do the safe mode driver fix I read about. I would really really appreciate any help.
Specs: Mobo: Asrock H97 Anniversary
CPU: i5-4690k
RAM: Kingston fury RAM 16gb
PSU: 750w
Graphics card Gtx 960 Asus strix

If you can boot in safe mode you can delete all the drivers, install th4e disc that came with the motherboard, install the lan driver, then get the rest from the motherboard site.
To be completely honest if you have to ask here your better off reinstalling windows, and most of the time when changing motherboards it's the best option anyhow. Since you have no disc then yes you will need one or use a bootable pin drive with windows installed on it.

I didn't mean to downvote your answer my phone is hard to do Tom's hardware on but how can I safe mode without the disk how do I enable the boot option also does that mean formatting the hardrive and rebuying Windows.
