Hey, just today when i got home and turn on my PC something weird happened..My PC wont boot up.. when i press the power button my GPU light turn on and all the fan turn on too.. but only for 1 second, then nothing happened.

Is it possible that the cause of my PC problem is because my Motherboard/CPU/GPU is dead? or this is just my PSU?

Not exactly correct. You don't have a working computer without memory, but the CPU and motherboard will announce that you don't have memory. This proves they are working.

When I say take everything out, I mean you should only have PSU, motherboard, and CPU, and the power switch plugged in. Then start adding things one at a time. That includes peripherals, front panel devices, etc. If any of these devices has a short, it would make a PSU fail its own POST. All it takes is a broken wire somewhere to prevent a full startup of a power supply.
Its kind of hard to tell unless you have spare parts.

Right now I have an old PSU and two old graphics cards in my room left so if I need to test an AMD or Nvidia GPU or power problems.

Pretty much just take out your GPU, you did not say if your CPU had Integrated Graphics, plug the HDMI into the Motherboard and then leave only one stick of RAM in.

If you have a spare PSU plug in the ATX and CPU power connectors and see if it 'posts' to BIOS.

It could be the motherboard as the PSU seems to power up then must fine a fault then shuts down.

Get back to me when you can

A board that powers up but fails to POST. Remove everything but the CPU and motherboard, and a speaker if it has one and turn it on. If it works, hooray, turn it off and being installing components one at a time. When it stops booting you have the culprit.

If it doesn't stay on, I would indeed try a new power supply, borrow one if you can. Since you are only testing the CPU and motherboard, it doesn't have to be a big one.

If that doesn't do it, either the CPU or motherboard is dead. Another CPU would be required to test with, and you risk a damaged motherboard toasting a good CPU.

hey so i did what you guys told me to do.. i took the GPU out and got another PSU and test it out. ther result is the same.. so it must be either the CPU or the motherboard right? or can it be both?

Or RAM as the computer wont turn on without working RAM, but RAM hardly ever fails so your will need to go get the MOBO and CPU tested out.

I recommend taking it to an independent pc shop where they can put it on their test bench to test it for you, that's what I do If have a major problem.
