I have a laptop with i7-3517U, 6GB RAM and no additional GCard.
Only 64MB is set as VRAM and would like to set more.

I have no potion in BIOS to do so.

I am trying to run Heroes of the storm which requires 256GB.
Is there a way to fool the game or win7 to think i have more?
I am fully aware of how would it influence performance and i would like to do it anyway.

Please restrain yourself from any other discussion other then HOW TO DO IT.

Is this your model (Fujitsu Lifebook)?

If so, then yes, it's suppose to use ("share") some of the built-in RAM.

Edit: Sorry, was interrupted last night before I could complete the post.

Says the shared VRAM is allocated on-the-fly ("dynamically"), but the amount at any given moment "is determined by the amount of system memory". So although it says up to 1.7GB can be allocated, that probably only happens if the full 8GB of RAM is installed (manual says it comes with 4GB by default).

You could potentially increase the RAM, but a) you'd have to make sure you have a 64-bit...

You can't do it if the BIOS won't let you.
We can't hack it for you. You probably need to get in touch with Laptop engineers of whatever brand this laptop is.

They have to write a BIOS just for you.
Just so you can play Heroes of the Storm at 10FPS on a Laptop with no 3rd party GPU.

Why do some people always need to spam their useless opinions... -_-

Wait, that 64MB is not part of my RAM Card?

dudeman509: what exactly is your CPU? do you have no other GPU as well? Is it a Laptop?
and yes, the game won't start, I actually need to get to the main menu

I have Fujitsu UH572, but i'm starting to think i don't understand what i'm trying to do.

You could potentially increase the RAM, but a) you'd have to make sure you have a 64-bit OS (or it won't be recognized), & b) Fujitsu claims that you have to take it to an authorized tech to upgrade the RAM; they claim that end-users can't get into the laptop to add/remove/change out RAM.

Yeah, it's an old Dell Studio w/ i7-640M.

Intel Graphics will use a minimum of 64 MB of your shared RAM at all times, and can dynamically, as requested by the OS/a program, allocate more towards the graphics.

There are flags you can set for some games, but this one ran fine on my Intel graphics while my dedicated ATI chip was on the fritz.
