• Gigabyte z170x gaming 7
• Samsung 950 Pro M.2 NVM Express
• Windows 10 Pro 64bit

1. Windows 8/10 Features set to Windows 8/10
2. CSM Support Disabled
3. Raid 0 set created in Intel Rapid Storage Technology
4. Start Windows 10 Pro installation loading IRST – Intel Chipset SATA Raid Controller (iaStorAC.inf from CD Boot\iRST\f6flpy-x64\iaStorAC.inf)
5. Raid set not detected

Any ideas?

First things first, it's not a good idea to run a Raid 0 with SSD's since they are already fast drives and the second point would be to not move forward with an install of Windows 10 on a raid array primarily due to the fact that it's very picky on how it's installed and where it's installed.

Further reading.

In the meantime, you can try with your RAID array installation by having the drivers for your Intel RST on a USB drive to avail at the Load Driver during installation phase though the end result for most is that the OS ruins everything once it decides t go belly up.

I ultimately came to the same conclusion that for the type of load I would be putting on the M2's that the real world results weren't worth the additional risk and headaches. I did benchmark them in Raid 0 and the results were breathtaking. For someone earning a living on video editing or massive data sets I can definitely understand the allure but again not worth it just for bragging rights...
