How much power does my graphic card need ?

i have gtx 960 g1 gaming and my pc specs are core 2 quard q6600 8gb ram 500gb ssd and 375 watt dell power supply and but it says that my gpu need 450 watt to run !!! but my graphic card is working good on dell power supply but my friend said i need to change my power supply to run my gpu properly do i have to change my power supply ?

the 450w rating from the GPU represent the maximum power draw it may require, aka 100% usage. It will usually pull down less than that, hence why its working for you right now. However if the card spikes over what your PSU can provide it will crash the computer.

You should upgrade to a better PSU. What you have going on right now is a shoestring operation that is bound to fail at some point.
