My sys specs are...
CPU: 8350 Black (no overclock)
Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo w/stock Fan Push
GPU: MSI Gaming R9 390
PSU:EVGA Supernova 750w
HDD: 2x Hitachi 7200RPM
SSD: 1x Crucial 250

MOTHERBOARD: AsRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 -- LINK HERE

I've been readin something about a bad VRM, but idk what that is or why i matters. I bring it up because playing the Witcher 3 on Ultra with HWM on on my other monitor - I noticed that my system ran pretty steady for 2 hours like this. The GPU was actually around 64 most the time, spiking only every now and then to 67-69.

The CPUTIn and CPU temp were at their MAX (as well as the CPU fan RPM ) for the entire game. 2 straight hours.

Solution
* For cooling the CPU and its surrounding components, please install a CPU cooler with a top-down blowing design.
They have this warning on the site because they know it runs too hot with the 125w CPU's.

It's a warning that the board is thermally Deficient.

Sometimes the motherboard components overheat, so make sure that you have a case with decent airflow. You should be fine, since you have an air cooler. many of the people that were reviewing it with VRM problems had a AIO CLC, so they had much less airflow around the VRM Area.

I have 2 Blademasters pulling air in from the front, 2 on top exhausting air out the roof (with the CPU pushing air out the top as well) and 1 more exhaust fan on the back (standard that came with the case). Mid sized case. It's just so damn loud when the CPU fan ramps up. Maybe thats just the price you pay for having a Air cooler...

Do y'all think it's worth it for me to drop some money on one of these "top down blower" things? Or keep my 212 (i actually have 2 of them -.-) and replace the fan with something that runs quieter?

In other words, he meant that other than buying additional components to cool it or swapping out existing ones for lower heat emmiting / greater heat tolerant components, there are no alternatives (ie. software, drivers, bios updates, etc...)

It's a perfectly valid point to bring up. All he's saying is either upgrade your gear or continue your paranoia.
