Check that all cables are securely connected. Be sure to check power cables as well.

Inspect as much of the wiring as you safely can. Look for bare metal showing, kinks, corrosion, brown or black burning signs, rodent chews, nails or staples through the wiring. Any new neighbors, construction, thunderstorms?

Call Century Link (may take a few calls) and have them check things from their end.
