Thanks a lot for replies. So a safe bet is 650w even when over clocking the 5820k? I've heard it is a very power intensive processor which is why I originally went for 750.

I've been contemplating waiting for pascal but thinking about it there really isn't much the 970 won't be able to handle in the next 5 years and I really like the look of the 970 strix.
