Hi guys :)

I've come to a point where i crave a new GPU.
I know nVidia is releasing their new pascal GPU's sooner or later(probably much sooner).
But since pascal is using NVLink and my motherboard doesnt, i will be buying a maxwell rather than pascal(since i dont feel like upgrading anything other than the GPU right now).

I've got my mind on the MSI GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6G, but i cant come to a conclusion wether to buy now, or wait for pascal release(i figure maxwell GPU's will get a signifigant pricedrop).

What's your oppinion? should i?

Thanks in advance!

Dont worry about NVlink. Its advantages are for multi-GPU set ups, and will probably only make a difference on paper. A Pascal GPU will work absolutely fine with a non-NVlink board via PCI-E.

I would strongly advise waiting a month or two for Pascal if your current GPU is good enough to last you out that long, as either you end up with a better card or get a 900 series cheaper.
