Hello,

I dropped my WD 2TB, which caused to corrupt some of my files. I could still access to it, so I proceeded to a CHKDSK afterwards. After 5 days, it got stuck at 20% so I had no other choice by cancelling it.

Making that CHKDSK was a huge mistake, because most of my files just disappeared, the folders appear as empty, even though they're not. In the computer properties, the disk shows as full, but I can't access to most of the files at all!

Proceeded to use WD diagnostics, but not it says "too many bad sectors".
I used TestDisk but could only copy the files that are visible (like 200GB) and I the disk is almost full.

I used alot of data recovery software as well, they didn't work at all. Some won't even recognize the disk. EaseUS actually recognized the "disappeared" files, but can't recover them because it gets stuck.

Can someone advise me on what else I could try?

Thank you!
