I must decide to buy a new gpu because I really want to play the new mirror's edge that is going to come out. I first wanted a gtx 970 but I saw some benchmarks on youtube and the 780ti had better framerates. The gtx 780ti has only 3gb ov vram but the 970 has a dissapointing 3.5gb usable so please help me choose one

P.S. I run 1440x900

The 780ti is pretty much the same performance as the 970.
However, the 970 is the most used GPU on the steam hardware survey, and as such most games will be optimized with it in mind.
The 3.5Gb Vram thing was blown out of the water a little bit, the other 0.5Gb of Vram just runs at a slower speed.
Most games won't even use the full amount anyway, so you should be fine.
TLDR; Get the 970, better...

Not everyone can afford a 980ti.
You could say to someone buying a flat "Why not a mansion in Luxembourg?".
Its not going to be a worthwhile suggestion for people on a budget, so its typically always the best option on forums to just follow what the OP wants, even if you don't agree with it! ^.^

The MSI Gaming version is the one to get.
