Good deal, GTX 980 is very powerful for any of today's games and even next generation games, if you have the money get it (Considering the card works, because its price is kinda low compared to newegg and eBay..)
Another thing to check is if your PSU will work with that graphics card, otherwise you will have to upgrade it too. What is your PSU model?

Used ? You can get a brand new MSI Gaming for $435, so $390 for $40, I wouldn't even look at a used card. Considering that you get a $60 game with the new card, the new one's net cost is $375
