Hello!
Recently bought new hardware to make my own computer.
Current specs:
Asus Z97-A
CPU 4790K
I have 32 GB of memory that come in 4 modules of 8 GB that I inherited from a previous dual XEON workstation.
The model is:
Samsung PC3 - 10600R 09-10-E1-P0
M393B1K70BH1-CH9
The red led on top of Mem OK button is blinking and there is nothing on the screen.
The monitor's led stays red.
I did not install any graphic card, there is only the cpu and memory.
I have tried all memory bars and none works.
I also had some old 2 X 4GB memory modules, the model is:
Crucial DDR3 1600 UDIMM 1.5V CL11
CT51264BA160BJ.M8FP
With this model, I can start the computer, it gets into the BIOS and I see nothing wrong.
I am aware that these memory modules are faster, but I really do not want to throw away those
32GB
Is this solvable ?
