So I'm trying to use CPUID HWMonitor and I see three different temperature readings for my cpu (FX 8320)

2 of em are under the motherboard dropdown and it reads;
Temperatures
-CPU
-Mainboard

The last one is under the CPU dropdown and it reads;
Temperatures
-Package

Which of the three should I look at when trying to overclock or put the system under heavy load?

Solution
Package is the temperature on the CPU die, consider core temps around 5C higher at all times. I'm guessing the "CPU" temp from the motherboard is the socket temperature, which you should just ignore.

are you sure your on the latest version of HWMonitor? you should see each cores temperature. but look at the cpu(thats just above mainboard) that says 32 degrees, thats the one to look at
