In terms of performance, they are basically the same. The only difference is the the Seagate has 1 year warranty, Blue has 2 years and Black has 5 years (and a significantly higher price tag)
But, is there anyone actually opening them up to see what kind of extra stuff the black has put into their drives? Are blacks really more reliable and vibration resistant, or is it just WD putting an expensive price tag and rebranding for exact same product and 3 years of extra warranty?
