how lower i7 4790k voltage ?

my mobo : g1sniper z97
and iam chang voltage cuz my cpu temp on games be : 80c on stock cooler
so i change VID to : 0.08 V and disabled turbo boost
and change cpu speed to : 2GHZ it was 4 and with turbo 4.4GHZ
now temp between 40 -50C
so is it good now and this change will affect it ??

Honestly, the stock cooler is absolutely terrible because some 4790Ks have been known to run hotter than most CPUs. I've had my 4790K run in the 40-50C range when idle on the stock cooler. I found the best solution is to invest in an aftermarket cooler like the Hyper 212 Evo, which isn't expensive but runs quiet and a lot cooler. I wouldn't recommend downclocking your CPU to 2 GHz, but just get a better cooler.
