Hi, I asked this elsewhere about a week ago, but nobody responded:

last night everything was working fine, today when I booted my PC my keyboard had all 3 lock lights flashing on and off together. Sometimes they stop and stay stuck on or off.

I cannot type anything, the lock keys do nothing. The media keys (volume up/down, etc.) do not work. Basically it is useless, nothing on it works.

The USB hub integrated into the keyboard does work. I am typing this post on a second keyboard plugged into the hub, it is working fine with no issues.

I am running Windows 10, which had a security update overnight. I have uninstalled this update, but that did not help, so I reinstalled it. Other things I have tried:

  • plugging the keyboard into different ports, including both USB 3.0 and 2.0
plugging the keyboard into a different PC, running Windows 8.1; the same exact issue
using the keyboard in the bios: still flashing, still not working
uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. No change
plugging a different keyboard into the ports I tried on the busted keyboard; works fine

My PC: Windows 10 latest update, Asus motherboard, i7, corsair power supply.

The keyboard is a couple years old, but it is mechanical and I would like to not have to buy a new one if at all possible. Is there any hope for it, or is it definitely busted? The fact that it still is getting power and can run another keyboard off of its hub, as well as the fact that it was working fine last night with nothing changing between then and now makes me think there's a chance.

Thanks for any help!
