6+2 VGA pin cable (the separate 2 pin part) doesn't fit my MSI 980 Ti

Both my red sleeved cables and stock PSU cables have the same type of VGA 6+2 pin cables. This doesn't make any sense... i don't want adapters.

Will fit with force but scary... idk

And GeForce requirements show that it is fine with just x2 6 pins in if I'm not mistaken (correct me if I'm wrong). I would like to have 8 though.

Geforces requirement is only for Geforce standard cards, yours is MSI and with their design it requires all plugs connected
