For Data recovery how do you slave an external drive to an internal drive? Can this be done to recover data files from IDE to SATA hard drives? The IDE drives are old, 1999 & 2003, but were working when removed from old computer. One is a WD enhanced IDE model 1200 JB75CRAO. Other is IBM model DJNA-352030. Can I use a docking station or USB 2.0 IDE to SATA adapter? I have WIN 7. Any advice really appreciated.

I have the second one. You can even use it to turn the old drives into an external storage drive.
