is this 970 legit? much cheaper than all other places

It's almost certainly legit, but check their shipping terms, you may not qualify!
Not sure about their returns policy though, 14 days return complies only with the revised Distance Selling Regulations, and they don't seem to offer any other warranty. Here in the UK warranty is the responsibility of the vendor but you should check the MSI website to see if a longer term is available, 14 days effective warranty is nothing for such an expensive purchase, you may want to stump up the extra $50 for that extra peace of mind.
