Hi guys, I'm new here. I'm facing the folowing problem right now. I just bought a new sound card soublaster Z to my pc. It has a 1x PCI-E port. I built in but neither in the bios and in the windows dont recognize. The card is working because I tested in other confiig I also tried to put in a Wifi lan card to test but that dosen't work too.
I have a folowing setup:
Asrock Fatal1ty Z87 Killer
I7 4790K
24gb Ram 4 slot
2x GTX 980 SLI Palit Super Jetstream in PCI 2 and PCI 5 Solt
Samsung 850pro ssd
1TB HDD
Because of the dual GPU setup i have only the first pic-e 1x slot is avaiable. Bios says its empty when i check it.
I have also pluged the extra power connector for the motherboard because of the SLI setup. Where shoud be the problem?
