Are both install on the same physical drive? If they are on different drives set from bios for it to boot from the drive you have Ubuntu installed or install grub on the drive with Windows.

Edit. you need to have grub installed on the boot sector of the drive the computer boots from, otherwise you would need for example a floppy to use as a boot device when wanting to boot to Linux.
 

Your first post left me with the impression that you want dual-boot, so my recommendation for EasyBCD.

If you boot into WIndows after you have "installed" Ubuntu - there's something wrong in your approach.
