Steam refund for a game bought 15 months ago?

I'm sure the answer is probably no, but even though Steam's refund policy states a game must have less than 2 hours played and be purchased less than 2 weeks ago to be refunded, I've been browsing Reddit and other sites and people have been saying they had something like 5 hours played on a game they bought 6 months ago and they got a refund for it. Well, I have a game I bought in January 2015 that only has 9 minutes played and I was wondering if it was possible to get a refund for it.

Any help is appreciated.

Just make a refund request and hope they do

The thing is I've read that if they consider your refund 'abuse' of the refund system they can revoke your privilege to refund a game, and I don't want that to happen.

Unless you refund games every 2 seconds for very bad reasons they wont do that. They get lots of refund requests like yours (if youre going to make one) it would take them too much time to do that for everyone. Just try it i highly dount theyre going to ''revoke your privilege to refund a game'' even if they did just open a steam support ticket and tell them they got it all wrong and they should give you back your privilege to refund a game.
