i don't mean onboard memory. i mean like Virtual Graphics memory i might be able to use a utility for or something for. (say instead of only 4gb i could bump it say 8 gp to use off my disk, or in my case my flash drive. 3.0 usb. (unless i could use my hdd....)

windows 7
i5 cpu (good 3 yrs old dono if i can up it with the mother board i have.)
970 GTX Nvida GPU 4gb
12gb ram
1TB HD

Solution
The OS at the driver level and / or game automatically move extraneous data from graphics memory to system memory and back, but this process is excruciatingly slow. Flash drive, Hard Drive, even an SSD would be to slow to be of any benefit at all.

@JQB45

thanks for letting me know, i was just hoping i had some way to up my CPU memory, but if its pointless because the other options are to sloe then that stink.

fallout 4, i dont know why. uses vthe memory on my card very very poorly and i thought the 4gb i had would be enough to run this game maxed out with out feeling it... i was wrong.
