I just built my second rig ever and made some mistakes. I got a shoddy asrock 970 extreme 3 mobo but bought a amd 9590 thinking I was going to overclock it. Well I can't get a stable clock higher than 4.9 GHz. The mobo is hardest to swap out considering especially with the liquid cooler on it now. I was first convinced my CPU was too hot. But it's not higher than 50 C ever. Then I kept reading the forums and it was suggested to make sure drivers and bios was up to date. Well I flashed my bios and the new bios ended up bricking my rig. Said the CPU wasn't supported. Anyways my question is should I bother upgrading my mobo. So much time and effort and money it will take to get a bit more hertz doesn't seem worth it. What are the experts opinions????!!

Please respond.

Oh I forgot to mention I was able to use an old bios revision and get it working again.
