Hi
I want to upgrade my CPU, I feel it's a bit slow
My specs:
CPU : AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
MB : Gigabyte GA-880GM
Ram : 8 Gigs
It's Mid-range PC
I was good with these specs but lately i started some extra load like video rendering and stuff and i noticed that my CPU is a bit slow PS i need a fast multi-core CPU faster than the old one, CPU cooling i'm really tired of the very loud noise that my CPU cooler does i have the stock so i will go after market CPU cooling should i go water cooling or air cooling is OK? And should i increase the RAM?

Thanks for your patience. :D

how much can you spend? for video render, you will want an i7 as it has extra threads to take advantage of. I would go for the 4790K as it is cheaper than skylake but performs pretty much the same. ( unless skylake has a feature that you need, go with haswell). if you render larger videos and need things done even faster, and have more money, go for the 5820K it is $20 more than the 6700K, but it sports 6 cores, and thus an extra 4 threads. just note it has a slower stock speed, so you would want to overclock it. just note, a X99 motherboard does cost more than a Z97 board, and often more than Z170 as well.
That is still a good chip. especially as the as that is a black edition chip. get a decent AM3+ motherboard and you should easily be able to get it to over 4 GHz. for video render 16 GB or RAM will probably be of use. both air and water can be very quiet. those large noctua dual tower heat sinks are very good and quiet, the H110i is louder, but does have slightly more cooling capacity. in general, any aftermarket heat sink that is more than $30 is probably leaps and bounds better than the stock heat sink.

Don't worry about budget, I think i will go with
i7-5820K
X99
16 RAM?
H110i
For the GPU i will go with Nvidia but i really don't know what is good for me!
PS: I don't like overclocking, I'm noob at it plus i live in egypt and tempreture in here is very very hot here, Today temp is 102.2 F
Yeah this is exactly what i want :bounce:, Thank you so much! :D

I would go with 5820K, MSI SLI plus X99 board, 16 Gb ripjaws RAM ( make use you get it is a 4 stick kit not an eight stick kit so that you can upgrade if you need to.) the h110i or whatever its latest name is will certainly keep that CPU cool.
What is your current GPU?

Well, I guess i'm lucky for having good CPU and GPU, I will make sure to have this PC always in a good condition,
The new PC specs are awesome.
Thank you very much for answering all of my questions, guiding me and improving my knowledge.
