Best 1000w Power supply

Solution

the difference is in their power effiency, IE how much it cost you to run the same amount of wattage, you only save a couple of dollars a year, going from gold to plat,
bronze is usually always accompanied by poorer quality build

good PSU are EVGA superNOVA g2 series, seasonic X series, corsair HX/AX seies there is a list here...

You need less than 400W to run that processor and motherboard with memory, HDD, fans etc.
A 980Ti GPU needs 250W. More modest GPU need 100 - 200W

To chose a good power supply, type PSU tier list into the search bar.
I would chose a PSU in tier 2

for quality build, to go with top quality hardware, you might aswell go for a tier 1 PSU since its the critical system part,
if you were on more of a budget go to next tier, but if you are already going for top of the line hardware, make sure you pair it with an equal top of the line, tier1, psu, to further eliminate any troubles

and the absolute max wattage you need from a tier 1 PSU to power any single card build(980ti, titan, AMD), with OC, is 650watts, no need to go higher
if you start to think about SLI, then 850w on tier 1 psu should be your minimum

EVGA supernova. 650W or 750W
gold wastes less electricity than bronze, because it has better circuit design
